Schedule:
Friday - February 24, 2006
7:00 a.m. - Tracking
We will meet at the parking lot of the Wilmer-Hutchins High
School Stadium at 6:45 a.m. to leave for the tracking fields at 7:00 a.m..
Tracking will be plowed dirt. Articles will be wood, carpet and leather.
12:00 – 6:00 p.m. Stadium open for practice
The Wilmer-Hutchins High School Stadium will be open for practice on Friday afternoon. Please be courteous of other competitors in the use of this time. If needed, we will open the stadium on Thursday, February 23 and additional hours on Friday to accommodate the number of entrants.
Saturday - February 25, 2006
8:00 a.m. - Obedience
Obedience will be held at the Wilmer-Hutchins High School Stadium. Competitors will enter from
the south beneath the scoreboard and heel north. The wall and jump will
be on the left (west), the long down will be on the right (east). Dumbbells
are natural wood. Starting points will be marked on the field. Spectators
will be seated on the left (west).

3:00 p.m. - Helper Tryouts
Helper Tryouts will be held at the Wilmer-Hutchins High School Stadium.
All helpers must have a dog capable of performing the SchH 3 routine to
try out with. Helpers must bring USA helper book, sleeve with cover, padded
stick, and protective pants and jacket. Helpers must be current USA members
and in good standing. We expect some top-level competitors at the event,
so all qualified helpers are encouraged to attend. All helpers selected
to work the event receive free food and drink at the stadium on Sunday,
and the two helpers selected to work the SchH 3 level will receive
a new Gappay sleeve and cover, courtesy of Dethyse.com

We have the private room booked under DFW Working Dogs. Appetizers will
be provided. All other food and drinks are the responsibility of the individual
members. Please tip your wait staff appropriately.
Sunday - February 26, 2006
8:00 a.m. - Protection
Protection will be held at the Wilmer Hutchins High
School Stadium. Competitors will enter from the south beneath the scoreboard
and run blinds to the north. Blind #1 will be to the right (east). The
field will be marked for all exercises per SV Dieter Schmale's instructions.
Spectators will be seated on the left (west).
10:00 a.m. - Raffle
Beginning at 10:00 and continuing through the remainder of the event we
will be announcing the winners of the raffle. There will be some great
items up for grabs, so buy your tickets early and often.
3:00 p.m. - Awards
At the conclusion of the protection phase, the awards will be handed out. See the “Trophies” page for more information on awards.

Individual reservations must be made by 1/23/06. When calling for reservations, mention the Dallas-Desoto location and the event: DFW Working Dogs - Regional Trial. There is a block of 15 rooms reserved, more rooms will be made available if/when needed and depending on hotel capacity.

Some double and king rooms are available with a microwave and fridge, as well as a table and chairs. Ask for these accommodations if you are interested. Rooms are clean and have space for crates, etc.
Note:
There are several restaurants and grocery stores available within short distance of both hotels. And remember, please be responsible and clean up after your pets and yourselves at the hotels, stadium, and tracking fields. Thank You
Spectator Info
All non-competitors must park in the main parking lot at the front of the stadium for stadium events.
Non-competitors wishing to watch the tracking on Friday must be at the stadium parking lot by 6:45 am to travel with the group to the tracking fields. Parking space at the fields will be limited, so please consider sharing a ride with others. Anyone arriving after the main group has left may call for directions:

Concessions:
$5.00/day – all you can eat & drink with the purchase of an armband. Armbands will be sold at the concessions area and must be presented for concessions. Food and drinks will be available at the stadium all day on Saturday and Sunday. Different colored armbands will be issued for each day.
Raffle & Vendors:
Don’t miss your chance to take home some great products for the low cost of a raffle ticket, and there will be a lot of great items available. Tickets will be sold on Saturday and Sunday. Raffle prizes will be awarded on Sunday during the protection phase and prior to closing ceremonies. Winning tickets must be presented to claim prizes.
There will be numerous vendors offering goods and services at booths throughout the event. Please stop by and visit them while you are here.
Please be courteous and pick up after yourselves and your dogs at the tracking and stadium grounds.
